Text minimum: 6mm H x proportional W
Elements minimum: 1mm x 1mm

Patch must consist of 40% Embroidery maximum

DESIGNS:

If a complex design is provided, TK Patches's designers will make necessary alterations to comply with product restrictions. No area of felt should be left without thread.
Custom shapes only.

TK Patches specialists will decide the perfect combination of plush chenille and intricate embroidery to enhance your product, when a combination of both is needed.

TEXT WITHIN DESIGNS:

Text sizes ranging from 30mm to 45mm must be exclusively in block font. For text measuring larger than
45mm, other font types are permitted, aiming to match them as closely as possible.

THREAD COLORS:

• A maximum of 6 Chenille thread colors can be used on a single Chenille Patch.
• A maximum of 9 Embroidery thread colors can be used on a single Chenille+Embroidery combination patch. No metallic thread.

FELT FABRIC COLORS:

Felt color tones are subject to slightly change.

BORDER TYPES:

Felt: Classic Chenille style with excess felt material surrounding the patch. 4mm (+/- 1mm). Inner outline of entire design must be embroidered & measure 2mm (+/- 0.5mm).

Satin: A sleek satin-embroidered edge with no excess felt. Available in TK Patches’s standard embroidery thread colors (metallic options are not included).

• Chenille patches featuring glitter felt with a satin border:
• Adds enhanced structure, giving the patch a firmer feel.
• Slight glitter residue on the border is a natural characteristic of the material.
• For a seamless and polished edge, we recommend pairing matching felt and border colors when using satin border.

BACKING:

• Low Melt Heat Seal
• Pressure Sensitive


FLOATING ELEMENTS:

All Chenille+Embroidery Patches must have a uniform background that supports every text and elements. Floating elements are not allowed.

WASHING INFORMATION

Chenille Patches will withstand up to 52 domestic washing machine cycles.

SHELF LIFE

One year shelf life before applying (room temperature-controlled environment).

PRESSURE-SENTITIVE

1. Clean application area with rubbing alcohol
2. Remove paper backing, press emblem firmly on desired location

LOW MELT BACKING WITH A 360 IQ™ HAT HEAT PRESS - HATS

• Top Temperature: 290°-300° F
• BottomTemperature: 315°-320° F
• Pressure: 40-50 PSI
• Preheat: N/A
• Dwell Time: 14-17 seconds
• Instructions: Place hat on heat press, leaving out the inner layer of the cap. Use a FlexStyle® Silicone Pad to protect the patch.

LOW MELT BACKING WITH TOP HEAT & BOTTOM HEAT - GARMENTS

• Top Temperature: 290°-300° F
• BottomTemperature: 315°-320° F
• Pressure: 40-50 PSI
• Preheat: N/A
• Dwell Time: 14-17 seconds
• Instructions: Place patch on desired location and secure it in place with Thermal Tape. . Use a FlexStyle® Silicone Pad to protect the patch.

LOW MELT BACKING WITH A TOP HEAT PRESS - GARMENTS

• Temperature: 350°-360° F
• Pressure: 40-50 PSI
• Preheat: N/A
• Dwell Time: 15-20 seconds
• Instructions: Place patch on desired location and secure it in place with Thermal Tape. Turn garment inside out and heat press.
• Optional: For delicate fabrics such as nylon, lycra, 100% polyester, etc. use a FlexStyle® Silicone Pad over garment for protection.

A digital proof via email is available in 1 day. Edits are allowed. 

Note: Digital proof may very from physical sewn pieces.

Set-up Charges

One-time sample and setup fees.

Production Time

Samples will take 1 day plus shipping. Production time will take 4 days plus shipping on an order up to 500 pieces. Add 1 day per 500 pieces.

NOTE: All turnaround times are subject to change. Larger orders may result in additional business days for production. Orders received after the cut-off time will be considered as received the next working day.
